Description
Everyone, please meet Debi's great grandmother, Roberta Weir. (fourth photo) she was the matriarch of our family and always possessed this quiet, gentle strength that made her seem unflappable. She mothered 7 children through the great depression, and her grandmother was the eldest of the girls (and was a total badass herself.) A quilt pattern, those wiggly squiggly lines seem so much more authentic to pay honor to her memory.
How it's made:
Debi draws every bit of the artwork for each scarf before it's meticulously replicated on 14mm silk twill. Each one is vibrantly printed on both sides, before receiving a hand rolled and hand stitched hem. Sustainably made in small batches.
Care instructions:
hand wash in cool water with mild detergent. gently swish, don't rub. rinse thoroughly. roll in a towel to remove excess water, then air dry flat. iron on low setting while slightly damp. avoid direct sunlight and heat sources.
